2007 CALL FOR PAPERS Abstract Submission Deadline: March 9, 2007 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 30, 2007 We invite you to participate in the 2007 International Superconductive Electronics Conference (ISEC) to be held from June 10 to June 14, 2007 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington, DC, USA. Theconference program format will consist of plenary and focused sessions with oral and poster presentationscovering all aspects of superconductive electronics. Washington, DC, is the capitol city of the United States, and offers cultural and informational venues including music, art, and history. The conference hotel is located within walking distance of the National Zoo and is conveniently located near the Washington Metro system for easy access to the many amenities the city has to offer. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS & PAPERS Authors are requested to submit abstracts and papers that may address any aspect of superconductive electronics. The sorting categories are listed below. Subject matter of submitted abstracts and papers should be technically orientated and feature new, original developments in superconductive electronics. Manuscripts may also be submitted for possible publication by the Institute of Physics in a special issue of Superconductor Science and Technology. The mode of presentation (oral or poster) will have no effect on the review of the submitted paper. Acceptance of an abstract for presentation does not guarantee publication. Mixed-signal systems (digital and analog) c. Analog devices (including oscillators and voltage standards) PREPARING ABSTRACTS Submission of abstracts for ISEC will be entirely electronic, using the conference website, www.isec07.org. Complete information regarding the format of abstracts and submission categories can be found at this website. The deadline to submit abstracts is March 9 March 30, 2007. Please do not send a hard copy after making a website submission. ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE & MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION Abstract acceptance letters will be emailed by April 2, 2007. Instructions on manuscript submission will be posted on the website. To allow time for potential foreign participants to file their Visa applications in a timely manner, abstracts generated by foreign participants should be submitted as early as possible. The conference organizers will endeavor to respond quickly to these abstracts as they come in. (Please see the .VISA Requirements. section below.) EXTENDED ABSTRACTS The conference will compile two-page abstracts of the accepted papers for distribution at the conference. Extended abstracts should be submitted electronically and will be due at ISEC by May 1, 2007. Instructions for submitting extended abstracts will be included in the acceptance notification. ISEC 2007 CANNOT INTERVENE with either U.S. Embassies abroad or with the State Department in Washington, DC, on behalf of any participant.
